Additionally, he has served in non-executive roles at institutions like the Bank of Zambia, Vodafone, and BHP Billiton Zambia. Currently, he is an Advisor at the National Economic Advisory Council and Non-Executive Chairman of the Wonderful Group, where his extensive experience drives strategic insights in mining, business and investment.
Wilphred Katoto

He began his career in 1981 at the Chibuluma Division Concentrator under Roan Consolidated Copper Mines (RCM), later managing mineral processing and hydrometallurgical plant operations at Zambia Consolidated Copper Mines (ZCCM) Limited. Wilphred has held several key roles, including leading the Metallurgical Investigations Department at ZCCM and overseeing plant performance optimisation. He also served as Technical Manager during the privatization of Zambia’s mining assets and represented ZCCM-IH on the boards of major mining companies from 2000 to 2020.
